Kaleb and I are still not feeling the best. I have a nagging cough and sore throat that just won't go away. Kaleb has a little cough and some stuffiness. He's also teething like crazy! He is in the process of getting his 13th tooth, and the molars seem to be the biggest pains.
He is also becoming a very picky eater. He won't eat anything we offer him on a spoon so we have gone to all solid finger foods. The only problem is most of it ends up on the floor and then he fusses when meal time is over, I guess because he realizes he is still hungry. The pediatrician says it may take some time for him to realize that he either eats or he doesn't get anything but it's been a really hard process. He used to eat everything in sight so this has been very discouraging. He lost a pound in 3 weeks, and although this is apparently common for his age, when it's your first child nothing is "common" to you as a parent.
We finally broke down and gave him back his bottle. We had gone "cold turkey" to switch to sippy cups, but while he is sick we needed to get more fluids down him and that is the only solution we could think of. So now we just do sippy cups for juice but hey, you do what you have to do right??
I didn't take any pictures of Kaleb eating/throwing his Thanksgiving dinner yesterday but here are a few of him a couple of days ago. He has really been communicating with gestures a lot more lately. If you say "touchdown" he will put his arms up like the Refs do, he will give you "high-five" and if you say "clap" he will clap his hands. He has also been talking up a storm...now if
