4th of July

We had a great 4th of July this year! Of course fireworks are still out because first of all, they don't start until way past the kiddos bedtimes, and secondly they are both still too young to really know what it going on anyway.

In the afternoon we met up with Kaleb's girlfriend Lily and her parents, and went to the Spray Park. It was our first time and I think it is safe to say we all loved it! Kaleb LOVED running through the water and we LOVED watching him have such a good time! There were squirting fountains, water guns, water sprays and mists, and just kids running crazy everywhere! The only downfall was that is was not enclosed. So every time Kaleb veered outside of the water area towards the picnic tables or grassy downhill slopes or whatever, we had to chase him. It was nonstop but I have to say great exercise!

Kelby chilled in the shade watching all the fun. Won't be long...by next year she'll be running around too I bet!

After the spray park we came back here, had some pizza, and let the kids play some more until it looked like they were just about to drop dead.

Overall, a great 4th, even with no fireworks!

Here are a ton of pix, they're just too darned cute to leave any out!

Kaleb getting hammered from all sides!

All the kids loved these holes that would squirt water intermittently

Tummy time on Kelby's new spinning play mat from Lily

We are so bad...but we make them kiss all the time...it is TOO CUTE! I love how Lily wraps her hands around his neck and pulls him in for the big smooch! And luckily, Lily's Daddy met Kaleb for the first time yesterday and gave him the thumbs up...at least for now!

Kelby passed out after her full day of fun on her first 4th of July
