I spent most of the day reorganizing Kaleb's room and trying to make sure there were no hazards since I figured he'd be up roaming around. There are some things that just can't be altered so I am hoping he's not too adventurous! He will be sleeping on the bottom bunk which is a full sized bed, and we removed the ladder for now so he won't be climbing on the top bunk until he is older.
I put him down about 8:30 and he finally went to sleep at about 10:30. It was really funny watching him on the monitor...he was just walking around, exploring, moving all his stuffed animals off of the bed and then back on it. I went in a couple times when I thought I heard something weird but could not see him. Didn't turn out to be anything, mostly him just getting his books out of the drawers.
Kelby was a total and complete, perfectly transitioned angel (all naps and bedtime in her swing and now in a crib)! Guess that's what you get with a girl! LOL I put her in the crib for her last nap and she went right to sleep, but I thought for sure it was a fluke. Then for bed tonight same thing...I am so proud but also not counting my chickens before they hatch! These things take time and so I am fully prepared for her to not make it through the night, or maybe have a rough time tomorrow. Either way she did great so far and I am proud of my big girl!
So at least for now they are both my sleeping beauties, and mama's going to try to get some reading done before I pass out myself!
Here are some pix of them tonight and from the last week or so...
