Kelby turned 11 months old!

Well we've been trading colds back and forth so needless to say I am a little behind with things at home!

Kelby turned 11 months old...oh my gosh our last baby is almost gone for good:( Although it is sad I can honestly say I have enjoyed her first year so very much, and each day she is learning and doing new things. She totally amazes me with her ability to mimic sounds and words, and she is really walking now too! She started getting into it a couple of weeks ago, and even though it's not her only form of transportation (she's still a crawler if she wants to get somewhere really fast!), she is doing it more often and for longer stretches.

Here are her 11 month stats:

Weight: 20 lbs. (45%)
Height: 30" (95%)

Her little personality has really emerged too! She has a quite the silly side, just like her Daddy, and she loves to play any kind of games, like peek-a-boo and patty cake. If she has her blankie she will put it over her head and leave it there and then yank it off with a big smile. She has actually said "peek-a-boo" a couple of times, although not sure if it would sound like that to anyone else:) If she's on the changing table and I say peek-a-boo she will put her hands up to her eyes and die laughing.

Kaleb has been such a good big brother to her! If they continue to be as close throughout their lives as they are right now, then they will be at such an advantage. Kaleb is still learning the concept of sharing however, but he has his own way of doing it. One of my friends actually pointed out that it seems he actually models actions I would do if I have to get involved. For instance, he will be playing with a bunch of his matchbox cars and of course little sister wants to play too. He will gather them all up and run over to the other side of the room and say "no sissy". While I believe he should be able to play with some things by himself, I still usually tell him to share. So what he does is he finds another toy for her to play with, she's happy, he's happy, life goes on. Kind of like if I don't want him to play with something I distract him with something else. Very intuitive for a 2 year old!

Here are lots of pix and a video of Kelby walking...enjoy!

Kelby's 1st ponytail! I know it looks silly but it's the only part of her hair long enough! I left it like that for about an hour and when I took out the rubberband her hair stayed like that!
