Our mini vacation!

Somewhat impulsively I decided we were due for a little fun out of town. So on Monday we went to Orlando to stay for a night at the Nick Hotel. It was awesome! It has 2 huge pool areas with a ton of slides, both big and little, play areas for little kids with shooting and squirting water, a zero-depth entry pool, minitature golf, and characters walking around for meet and greets.
The kids really had blast and so did we. Luckily, we got a good amount of time playing in the water on Monday because Tuesday basically got rained out. We were planning on staying the whole day after check-out but there were too many storms.
Overall, it was a truly great getaway, and with the Florida resident special they were running it was actually super affordable too...a perfect combination!
