We now have a 3 year old!!

Okay, enough blogging about the Twilight Saga (for now :), my baby boy turned 3 on Monday! What can I say without repeating myself a thousand times over, but he is such an angel and such a joy and I really truly am blessed to have him! Lou and I figure he must have gotten only the very best parts of each of us because as a whole he is just too sweet!

He had his 3 year check up today and even thanked and hugged the nurse after she gave him his flu shot! What a trooper! Our future linebacker 3 year old was 39 1/2" tall and 37 1/2 lbs., both in the 90th percentile.

Our goals now are pretty straightforward, potty training. Ugh, dread! We really are sticking to our plan of kinda letting him lead the way, and he is definitely making small steps each day. Like wet diapers, even with just one pee, are starting to bother him. He'll take his diaper off and want to go on the potty, but still won't go poo poo. Every time he does have a dirty diaper though he wants to see it and apparently all of that is good so we'll go with it!

Kelby is just as precious and devilish as ever! Favorite words, "NO!", and "I don't want _____ " (fill in the blank with anything and that's what she doesn't want!).

We celebrated Kaleb's b-day with our first trip to Busch Gardens and the kids loved it. We got annual passes so we went back today for a few hours and found some new stuff to do and had a blast. It's great to have the passes now so we can just scoot over there any time we want. No pressure to go right when they open or stay all day because we can just go back again! And the best part, they were dead. I mean, no crowd whatsoever. So much so that I was telling Lou I hope they're not in jeopardy of closing, especially before our passes run out! No really, it is a ton of fun, especially for the kids at this age, kinda like a theme park and a zoo all in one!

Here's some pix and video of our couple days there and Kaleb's b-day...
